This is the boring legal bit but it protects you and us! When we begin working with you, we will send you a personalised version of this information. However, this information is provided as a guide:
We will send you a quote for your app based on the specification you have sent/will send us. Should you require modifications to your app, these may incur further charges.
We will send you samples and screenshots and work with you until you are happy. At the point you are ready to submit your app, we will request payment. Upon receipt of the final payment, we will submit your app to the appropriate stores.
Any timescale for development quoted is a guide only and your application may be completed more quickly or more slowly than quoted depending upon issues that arise during development.
If you wish to charge for your app, you will need to obtain an Apple Developer Account and a Google Play Developer account – these require payments to Apple and Google directly.
If you do not wish to charge for your app, we can publish your app under our brand in the App Store. You will retain copyright in either event.
You will not own the source code of the app but should you wish to purchase it, please contact us for a price. It is likely to be considerably more than the cost of the app as the source code contains commercially sensitive information.
Should you wish to cancel your order and we have not commenced work on your application, there will be no fee to pay.
Should you wish to cancel your order and we have already commenced work on your application, 50% of the original quote will be payable to us.
In the event that the application development has stalled due to lack of communication from you, should six months pass without further correspondence, we will cancel your project and you will be liable for 50% of the original quote.
Due to the nature of software development, bugs may be present in any completed application. We will work with you to fix these without further cost. Whilst we make every endeavour to ensure no bugs are present in the final application, bugs often do not become apparent until software is used by many people on different devices. We cannot guarantee that your application will be completely free of bugs at release but we will send you a working demonstration of your app prior to release for you to test and use to identify any bugs which we will then fix free of charge.
We can build a Universal iOS app – designed for all iPads and iPhones running iOS 9 or later or we can build for specific devices. Upon request, we can provide quotes for an Android app. Given the large volume of Android devices, we cannot guarantee that the app will look the same on every device but we will endeavour to ensure the same user experience throughout.
The quotes and projected time-scales for the project will be given to you before any work begins.
Payment is due in full any time between us starting the project and making the app live via bank transfer to the our account (details of which will be shared with you once you place an order).
Upon receipt of a signed copy of your personalised terms and conditions, we will begin work on your project. Upon receipt of the final balance and when you are happy with the project, we will submit the app to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Apple update their software annually – as a result mobile apps may require updating in order to continue functioning properly. We will ensure your application functions correctly for 2 years from the date of this agreement. After this time, if the app requires updating to continue to work with Apple’s iOS software, a fee to update the app would be payable. This is entirely optional.
By accepting the terms and conditions, you are doing so as the authorised representative for your company.
